May 14-16, 2009 Belk Theater
Othello, choreographed by Dwight Rhoden, takes a modern day look at the Shakespearian classic.
This world premiere is filled with drama, deception and tragedy. Also on the program is Nacho Duato's Na Floresta ("in the forest" in Portuguese). Last performed as part of Innovative Works, Na Floresta praises the beauty of the Amazonian rainforest.
